Animal hospital joins fund to provide low-cost services for animals in need

| December 20, 2018 12:00 AM

Lake City Pet Hospital has enrolled in the American Veterinary Medical Foundation (AVMF) Veterinary Care Charitable Fund to provide low or no-cost services for clients with financial hardships and abandoned or abused animals. Seed money for Lake City’s charitable fund was donated by Animal Allies of Idaho, which dissolved this month.

“Animal Allies is proud that we have helped spay or neuter more than 3,000 Northern Idaho cats and dogs, leaving a legacy of preventing many thousands of future unwanted pets,” said Ronnee McGee, Animal Allies founder. “And Lake City Pet Hospital has been the primary veterinary partner in our programs, so donating our final funds to Lake City’s charitable fund is the perfect way to continue to benefit area animals.”

Lake City Pet Hospital encourages the public to make tax-deductible, charitable contributions to their AVMF Veterinary Care Charitable Fund to help local animals. Donations can be made using the ‘donate’ button on their website, LakeCityPetHospital.com or at their location, 902 N. Lincoln Way, in Coeur d’Alene.
