They went 3-0 and were tops in their division, before falling to the Spokane Snipers in the semifinals. They earned a berth to the Washington State Basketball Championships in March. WRESTLING

Middle school districts: River City Middle School of Post Falls won the North Idaho district wrestling tournament on Dec. 15 at Woodland Middle School in Coeur d’Alene. The Titans scored 327.5 points, nearly 100 points ahead of the second-place finisher.

Schools competing included River City, Post Falls, Lakeland, Woodland, Sandpoint, Lakes and Canfield.
