Santa cruises Coeur d'Alene

| December 19, 2018 12:00 AM

St. Nicholas and his squad are spreading holiday magic and collecting gifts of kindness for those in need.

Members of the Coeur d’Alene Firefighters Local 710 and Santa himself will be cruising through town on a decked-out fire engine as they accept food and cash donations for the food bank in the days leading up to Christmas.

Santa’s journey will last from 4:30 to 8:30 each evening. Catch up with the big guy and his crew at the following locations at these times:

Dec. 19 (today) East of Seventh Street, south of Appleway Avenue

Dec. 20 (Thursday) East of Highway 95, north of Appleway Avenue

Dec. 21 (Friday) West of Highway 95, north of Appleway Avenue and south of Kathleen Avenue

Dec. 22 (Saturday) West of Highway 95, north of Kathleen Avenue and south of Hanley Avenue

Dec. 23 (Sunday) West of Highway 95, north of Hanley Avenue and south of Prairie Avenue

Go to http://cdaid.org/files/fire/santa.html to track Santa's location.

When you see flashing red lights and hear Christmas music, come out and donate a can of food, let the kids say hello to Santa and the firefighters and get candy canes or other surprises.

DON’T FORGET to track Santa at the above link!
