DEMOCRATS: Presidential pitfall

I just read the names of the likely Democrat candidates for 2020. It may soon be a cast of thousands. So far, there is about two dozen. Most of this group are quite radical, some are proud socialists. They all espouse frightening and some nefarious ideas of what the USA should look like. The bullet points most of them agree on include:

- Open borders

- Eliminate I.C.E

- Promote identity politics

- Expand sanctuary cities and states (civil war)?

- Raise taxes

- Join Paris Peace Accords (see today’s France)

- Ban offshore drilling, ban fracking, terminate ANWAR and Can. pipeline

- Abolish the Electoral College

- Initiate majority wins in U.S. Senate

- Nominate Federal Judges like Ginsberg (former ACLU)

- Impeach President Trump and Justice Cavanaugh

- Free health care and college

- Forgive college loans

- Ignore Quid Pro Quo

- Expand hate crimes to include thought crimes

- Reverse all Trump reversals vis a vis EPA and Interior

After reviewing the list of these two dozen aspiring candidates, I wondered why Gus Hall was not included. Gus ran four times for president of the United States as a representative of the Communist Party USA. Fortunately, he was not elected and is now deceased. You have to wonder though, in today’s political environment he would be a favorite.

To put a bow on this letter, an Obama bureaucrat named John Brennan, who was a high intelligence operative (DNA and CIA Chief), admitted that he voted for Gus Hall! Think about that.
