Donna Prince, 73

Our beloved Donna Prince passed away peacefully at her home in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho with her family surrounding her on Monday, Dec. 3, 2018. Donna was born on March 10, 1945, to Robert Sorensen and Anne Stewart of Malden, Mass.

Donna had a very fulfilled life. She modeled for small stores. She was an amazing artist. Her drawings of animals, landscapes and portraits are breathtaking. She also had a knack for making homemade dream catchers. She grew the most amazing and beautiful roses that anyone ever laid their eyes on. She also made the most delicious chili anyone has ever tasted. Donna was a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her family and friends were the most important thing to her. She always looked at the bright side of things and was very positive, no matter how bad the situation.

Her beautiful smile with her memorable giggle will be greatly missed, along with her sparkling, bright blue eyes.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Grady Prince, who passed in November of 2017. She was also preceded in death by her mother and father.

Donna will be greatly missed by all her friends and family; her best friend of over 30 years, Doreen Hendrickson, stayed beside her and took care of her for the last year; Jan, her sister-in- law; Judy and her husband, Johnny of Alaska (35+ years of friendship); her extended family, Christina, Nick and their five children; Tia, Nikole, Michael and his two children.

Donna leaves behind one daughter, one son, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A huge thank you to Auburn Crest Hospice. All of you are Angels. Thank you so much for your love for Donna and keeping her dignity while having the utmost respect for her. Your love and compassion was greatly appreciated and you all will be in our hearts forever.

At Donna’s request there will not be a funeral, however, her family will be hosting a celebration of life for Donna. To view Donna’s online memorial please visit www.englishfuneralchapel.com
