Post Falls Nissan is open for business

What was Findlay Nissan is now Post Falls Nissan with new owner Jonah Namson at 1800 E. Polston. He also has owned Post Falls Volkswagen for three years.

Selling new and used vehicles, hours are until 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays. Service hours are until 5:30 p.m. weekdays and 3 p.m. Saturdays.

Cool Cars, Trucks on East Sherman

The building and property that was Jeffrey’s Cafe is now Cool Cars And Trucks at 1801 E. Sherman.

Moving from Rathdrum where it was for three years, the business sells used cars, trucks and SUVs. Open 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Phone 208-712-3187.

Brown Family Chiropractic opens

Offering gentle chiropractic care for kids, parents and grandparents to relieve pain, restore function and ensure optimal growth and development, Brown Family Chiropractic has opened in Suite B of 705 E. Prairie Ave. (at the Fourth Street intersection).

The clinic also provides free health education classes on spinal hygiene and select topics announced in the office and on social media outlets.

Dr. Jackson Brown graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic. His wife, Abigail, assists in operations and specializes in maternal health and fitness coaching. The Brown family will host a grand opening party 4-6 p.m. Friday.

Bodhi Organic Salon opens in Hayden

Offering Oway Organic hair color and perm services, Bodhi Organic Salon has opened at 814 W. Hayden Ave.

Holistic hairstylists Chandra Osborne and Jennifer Brennan sell Oway organic hair care and styling products and will offer company skin care products. Clients include those with chemical allergies and health issues. They offer free consultation.

Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and evenings by appointment and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays. Hours will change as staff members are added. Phone 208-762-9227. A grand opening will be after the New Year.

Space Yoga Studio off East Sherman

With Hatha Yoga for beginners to advanced practitioners and all-level Vinyasa Flow, Slow Flow and guided meditation classes, the Space Yoga Studio has opened behind Vertical Earth at 1323 E. Sherman Ave.

- Franz Bakery will move from 1220 Government Way to 500 W. Dalton Jan. 2.

- Samuel’s Jewelers will close Feb. 23 in Silver Lake Mall. Payless Shoes is closing its stores in Ironwood Square and Silver Lake Mall.

- InThreadz will move one space to the former Quizno’s place in Ironwood Square. Watch for Hu Hut Mongolian Grill in former Payless and Inthreadz locations (between Government Way and Lincoln Way off Ironwood Drive).

- The “For Sale” sign west of the former Dairy Queen on Appleway is gone. Anyone have information?

- Bakery by The Lake at Parkside will have a second location in April.

- A&B Market will open as a convenience store at 402 Sherman in late December.

- Emergency Veterinary Hospital will be at 1336 W. Kathleen (across from Ramsey School) in January.

- JTM Industries will move from Schreiber Way to 4905 Government Way.

- J.A. Bertsch Heating & Cooling will move from Hayden to 3645 Government Way. And Paragon Brewing will open its new building at 5785 Government Way at the end of the year.

- The former Armour Antiques at 1116.E. Sherman will become Anytime Fitness. Precision Fitness will be at 15th and Sherman.

- Syringa Sushi will move to the former Bistro on Spruce location on Fourth Street. And a noodle place may come into the old Syringa location.

- Beyoutiful Hot Yoga will be in Ironwood Square in late December.

- Watch for a Jitterz coffee stand at Prairie and Heartland.

- Hibachi Sushi is coming to 221 E. Sherman. We hear a German restaurant will be where Camera Corral left (for Northwest Boulevard) on Sherman.

- A new Fu-Ki Japanese Steakhouse is under construction where the Kynrede Cafe was at 8885 N. Government Way in Hayden.

- A new place downtown soon will be Live For Blu fine art at 505 E. Sherman.

- Staybridge Suites hotel is under construction in Riverstone.

- A new building for Idaho Central Credit Union is under construction at 1327 W. Appleway. And a new one for Keller Williams Realty will open in March at 3931 Schreiber Way.

- Cinnamon Lane has a “coming soon” sign at Fourth and Harrison.
