Special to The Press
Come one come all to the snowman’s debut …
debut because he is brand new.
The children placed him in their little snow cave,
and stuck his stick arms in a welcoming wave.
Did he conduct from his place in the hollow,
all of the magic that soon was to follow?
Fanciful faces appeared in the snow;
faces of those who had come for the show.
Snow fell and stars flowed and the snowman just glowed.
Like a puppet he stood there
(he can’t move, he just stands)
but if you look closely you’ll see puppeteer hands.
What happens next is for all to come see,
because after dark admission is free.
