EAGLES: A veteran's salute

As a veteran, I got the rare opportunity to go on an eagle watching tour on a Resort boat sponsored by the BLM. I just wanted to thank them for offering this cruise once a year free to some of the veterans in our area. It was very well done and they made us feel very welcome and proud to have served our country.

It is amazing the amount of bald eagles we saw. If you haven’t had the chance to see them yet, try to go out to Higgens Point or Beauty Bay and see something very few people ever get a chance to see or experience. Hundreds are here at the moment eating to their hearts’ delight and it’s very unique to our area. Thanks again to the BLM.
