Buck and Joanne Wilhelm

64th Anniversary

Buck and Joanne Wilhelm will celebrate their 64th wedding anniversary on Dec. 7, 2018. Buck and Joanne were married at St. George’s Catholic Church in Post Falls on Dec. 7, 1954.

They had five wonderful children, Kim, Linda, Chistiane, Allen and Don. Allen died of cancer in 2009. They raised their family in Post Falls. Joanne owned a successful clothing and fabric store after working for Al and Gladys Farver for many years and Buck started working at Idaho Veneer and then went on to work for the Post Falls School District as a janitor and retired as the Bus Supervisor. He opened Buck’s 1 Hour Photo upon retiring.

They have nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Their years were very busy with the kids being in every sport. Buck managed and played softball for many years and was quite successful being inducted into the Idaho Softball Hall of Fame.

Buck and Joanne moved from Post Falls to Cougar Gulch and then retired to Clarkia, where they have had the opportunity to see new country and meet countless new friends.

They began quilting and embroidering, and have made many quilts. They still get out in the Jeep from time to time to take in the majestic countryside and to watch the elk and the wildlife. They have lived a rich and rewarding life.

Stephanie Andre

Celebrating 40 years

Steven Lewis Andre and Stephanie Jane (Carlson) Andre will be celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary on Sunday, Dec. 2.

The Andres are parents to their four married children: Lucas Andre (26) of Coeur d’Alene; Zachary Andre (30) of Austin, Texas; Jordan Andre (33) of Nairobi, Kenya; and Janee Gerard (36) of Los Angeles, Calif. The Andres also have 10 grandchildren: Caleb (6), Ezekiel (2), Vincenza (6), Gabriella (4), Moses (6), Zuri (4), Mateo (8 months), Ezra (5), Malakai (4) and Immanuel (7).

Congratulations! We love you Mom and Dad! Happy 40th wedding anniversary!
