GM: Survive then profit

| December 2, 2018 12:00 AM

As of late, the news reports the large layoffs at General Motors. It appears they are trying to put themselves in the survival and profitable mode. We are for sure in changing times and times that are not easy to contemplate and understand.

Our president has a mountain of issues to deal with every day. He has made it clear that he is dissatisfied with GM’s decision to downsize. Maybe the government should understand that survival sometimes takes decisions that may not be comfortable.

The U.S. government is the largest employer and is way over-employed. They need to follow the private sector and become aware of the costs of being over-employed.
