Cardinal men finish 3-0 at Cd'A Inn-vitational

COEUR d’ALENE — Emmitt Taylor III hit four 3-pointers and scored 25 points as North Idaho College defeated Medicine Hat 93-72 on Saturday afternoon to finish 3-0 at the Coeur d’Alene Inn-vitational at Rolly Williams Court.

RayQuan Evans added 24 points and 11 rebounds for the Cardinals (6-0). Taylor also had eight rebounds.

Jon Sappleton had 23 points, nine rebounds and four assists for Medicine Hat.

NIC hits the road for the San Jose City College tournament Thursday through Saturday.

COEUR d’ALENE — Heidi Sellman had 19 points and 11 rebounds as the Cardinals defeated the Gonzaga club team.

Alivia Williams made three 3-pointers and added 11 points for NIC (3-1), and Halle Eborall added 11 points, six rebounds and three steals.

NIC returns to action Dec. 11 at home against a team from Fairchild Air Force Base.
