LETTERS: The story they tell

The give and take in The Press’s LTE section is a perfect example of the tribal thinking that is so common today in the U.S. This is especially vivid if one follows the give and take of the comments, replies and further replies following many of the letters on cdapress.com. The most salient features of those exchanges is the nastiness and name calling and most importantly the absence of facts or the presentation of unsupported, so-called facts.

I imagine most people don’t dig deep into those threads, but it is also obvious if one reads just the letters.
