John Abel, 63
John William Abel, of Hayden, Idaho, died Aug. 21, 2018, at Kootenai Hospital. He was born Nov. 25, 1954, in Bell, Calif. John co-owned Star Electric with his partner and friend, Sandy.
He is survived by his mother, Mary King; a brother, Glen King; sisters, Donna Dalrymple and Melody Price; nephews, Michael Miller, Byron Bradley, Charles Bradley, Michael David Bradley, J.J. Stanley, Ryan Bowen, and little John; nieces, Jennifer Perrins, Kim Boles, Serena, Cassey, Charlie, Ashley, Treisha, and Kim Birkenbine; and good friends and partner, Sandy and Holiday.
Johnny was a loving son, brother and uncle. He always tried to take care of everyone and will be truly missed by all of us.
A military funeral service will be held at the Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, Calif. Yates Funeral Home, Coeur d’Alene is in care of local arrangements.
