QUOTES: Trump potpourri

Excerpt from Helsinki press conference: “My people came to me, Dan Coats and some others, they said they think it’s Russia. I have president Putin, he just said it’s not Russia. I will say this, I don’t see any reason why it would be.”

This was either a trumpian Neville Chamberlain moment or worse yet, a Benedict Arnold in civilian clothing. Either way, Trump does not defend America against the Russians.

Quote from press conference regarding the press: “Don’t believe what you hear or read.” He forgot to include what you see. Trump has numerous sources of information coming across his desk, yet he prefers a singular point of view that is inimical to our national well-being and security.

On why Trump voters like him no matter what? Trump’s base identifies with him because of the enemies he has chosen.
