PLUMMER — J.J. Hall scored on passes from lineman Lazarius Iron Cloud of 70-, 55- and 30-yards for the Knights, who lost in their season opener to the Miners.

“We’d lost our running back early in the first quarter and another starter banged up his knee, so we were moving some guys around,” Lakeside coach Chris Dohrman said. “Lazarius, he’s been practicing as a backup through came did all of his scoring in the second half. He did a great job of stepping in and threw the ball really well.”

Quarterback Erik Brackebusch threw for five touchdowns for Wallace, four to Logan Hull and two to Carter Bailey.

“Those three, they’re a tough combination to guard,” Dohrman said. “Especially in the passing game.”

Lakeside travels to Kendrick next Friday.
