Albert Wilkerson Jr.

Albert Wilkerson Jr. passed away at his home on Fox Island, Wash., on Aug. 15, 2018.

A former resident of Athol, Idaho, he was known in the Coeur d’Alene area as a Buffalo Soldier historical presenter, a lecturer at North Idaho College and was twice a national delegate during the Obama Presidency. He retired as a master sergeant from the U.S. Marine Corps, was a Vietnam veteran and an educator for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Amy, daughter Marcia, sons Mark and Tedd, and numerous grandchildren.
