CHAMPS: A standing 'O'

Congratulations to our Little League NW Regional Champs. It was special playing a team from Montana, a state I’ve lived in for several years. The competition was neighborly, but intense.

What didn’t make sense to me: Why was the NW Regional being played in San Bernardino, which is in Southern California? (I looked it up.) It would be nice for future travel to have the NW Regional in the Northwest.

Again, congratulations to our Coeur d’Alene boys and good luck today playing against another place I used to live nearby, Grosse Pointe Woods, Mich.
