Bonnie G. Landis, 78

The beautiful soul of Bonnie G. Landis went to walk with God on Saturday morning, Aug. 4, 2018. She died peacefully and sweetly. Bonnie was from a very close family with nine children. She was an identical twin and was born April 30, 1940, in Whitehall, Mont. As a young woman, Bonnie graduated from beauty school and progressed to become an instructor in 1960. Then two years later she married and started her family. She enjoyed her role as mother to 3-year-old daughter Debbie and later daughter Kimberly and son Michael followed. That marriage did not survive. She later met and married Francis Landis, the true love of her life, who preceded her in death last year at the age of 94. Bonnie and Francis and the children settled in the Lewiston valley while enjoying a rich and busy family life filled with travel, adventure and love.

Bonnie was also preceded in death by her twin sister and two older brothers, but is survived by three sisters and twin brothers. Bonnie is also survived by all of her children and their families. Bonnie was a positive spirit; a woman with a strength and love that was unmeasurable and will forever live in our hearts.

Bonnie’s family will hold a celebration of life at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 11, 2018, at 302 W. 18th Ave, Post Falls, ID 83854.
