I’m talking about the tariff which affects the paper you’re reading right now and the local business their advertising caters to.

Printed news relies on the wood pulp needed for newspaper. Canadian pulp costs less due to abundant state-owned forests and hydroelectric power.

Our wood industry is the conglomerate of merging corporations like Potlatch/Deltic. They see this as a too-big-to-fail boom which will turn the nation’s forest into their personal wood baskets…

It’s time for all of us to start reading the fine print in Trump’s deregulation policies before fine print is all we can afford.
