Curtis N. Miller, 67

Curtis N. Miller, aka “Crusty,” 67, lost his battle with cancer on April 15, 2018, at his home in Spirit Lake, Idaho, with his family by his side.

Crusty Curt was born to Robert and Kay Miller on Dec. 17, 1950, in the San Fernando Valley, Calif. He moved to Spirit Lake, Idaho, in the late 1960s to be with his father, Robert, and step-mother, Phyllis. There, Curt met his first wife, Carol, whom he had two daughters with, Marissa Jan and Amanda Kay.

In 1988 he met his current wife, Elizabeth, and they married in 1992. Elizabeth brought two children, Tony and Adrianne Baker to complete the family.

Curt was hard at work and hard at play his entire life. He worked as a logger, a construction worker and a white-water rafting guide on the mighty Salmon River. He retired as a construction worker from Silverwood Theme Park in December of 2017.

Curtis was preceded in death by his sister, Crystal; his mother, Kay, and his father, Robert. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Miller; daughters, Marissa Miller and Amanda Hone; step-children, Adrianne and Tony Baker; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Curtis was well-loved, well-known, and will be missed by many, far and wide.

Services will be held at noon on Sunday, May 20, 2018, in Spirit Lake, Idaho, at the big City Park. We will continue on at the White Horse Saloon on Maine Street with a wake and potluck.

Please share your thoughts and memories of Curtis in his online memorial at www.belltowerfuneralhome.com.
