LITTLE: He knows Idaho

| April 27, 2018 1:00 AM

I was privileged to serve in the Idaho Senate with Brad Little. In our time working together, I can tell you that no one understands this state or the issues facing us better than Brad. His knowledge is simply unparalleled — a quality that will serve him and us well as the next governor.

Though he comes from an agricultural background and maintains his roots in rural communities, Brad serves as a leader on many boards and task forces that have broad implications for our state: as a Co-Chairman of the Leadership in Nuclear Energy Commission and as Chairman of the Governor’s Cybersecurity Task Force. Both of these interests in energy and security are valuable experience for our state and showcase his knowledge of the Idaho National Laboratory.

Furthermore, Brad is the true champion of education in this governor’s race. He is the only candidate to release a detailed, comprehensive education plan, and he understands the intricate connections between education and a strong economy. Little is an advocate of economic development, career technical education and workforce development, all of which help improve our economic standing. As a result of his hard work, Idaho has never been in a better position: we are the fastest growing state in the nation, have one of the lowest unemployment rates in the country and have some of the highest wage growth of any other state.

Simply put, Brad Little is a proven leader and is the only qualified candidate for our next governor.
