George F. Longdin, 81

George was born in Los Angeles, Calif., on Sept. 25, 1936, to Lee and Dorothy Longdin. He died peacefully in his sleep on April 22, 2018.

George was raised in the Los Angeles area and graduated from Inglewood High School in 1954. He served in the Army from 1955 to 1957. George worked as a claims adjuster for the Automobile Club of Southern California, a salesman and manager for TAB Products, and an assistant caddie master at the Coeur d’Alene Golf Resort. He enjoyed thoroughbred horse racing, movies, golf and bowling.

George is survived by his wife of 59 1/2 years, Donna of Hayden, Idaho; sons, George (Jodie) of Spirit Lake, Idaho and Jon (Shannon) of Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif., and grandchildren, Sean and Emily.
