UPDATE DMV license service restored

The Idaho Transportation Department reports the state’s Division of Motor Vehicle license service has been restored.

“The source of the outage remains unclear at this time, but appears related to a nationwide license-verification process,” said an ITD news release.

BOISE — Due to a nationwide outage, all Idaho Division of Motor Vehicle license services have been suspended.

It is not known when these services will resume. The source of the outage is unclear, but reportedly appears to be a nationwide license-verification process.

ITD will provide updates as they become available.
