Dennis Keith Adair, 63

On April 5, 2018, our “Gentle Giant,” Dennis Keith “Bubba” Adair, went home to be with the Lord. He was born July 22, 1954, in Marysville, Calif., and grew up in Yuba City, Calif.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil Adair and Delphia (Foster) Adair, and his sister and best friend, Patti Adair.

Dennis moved to North Idaho 24 years ago to be with his sister and get clean and sober. He earned his certificate in drug and alcohol counseling at North Idaho College in 1998. He went on to work at Port of Hope for several years. He also helped set up the Chemical Dependency Program at a local hospital in North Idaho. Dennis was a leader for Celebrate Recovery from the beginning at Real Life Ministries, in Post Falls, Idaho. He helped a countless number of people in their journey of living clean and sober. He made living clean and sober look worth it.

Dennis was soft spoken, gentle and had a huge smile for everyone. He rediscovered his passion for bowling a few years ago and made many friendships at River City Lanes in Post Falls.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Nanette “Sam” Seick-Adair. They were married May 24, 2002. He gave his life to Jesus that year.

His nephews, Ray Webb and Shon Gemmeli and niece, Ericka Everhart, plus several great-nieces and nephews, all living in California, will greatly miss their Uncle Dennis.

Dennis has two daughters, Danielle Atkins of California, and Amy Seick of Post Falls.

Our community was blessed to have Dennis and he will be missed by many people in North Idaho and California. This man touched the lives of countless people, and he will not be forgotten soon.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2018, at Real Life Ministries, 860 N. Cecil Road, Post Falls. Bell Tower Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
