SEPARATE: Politics and business

| April 22, 2018 1:00 AM

When we originally contacted Allstate to insure our home and our vehicles, we weren’t asked our political affiliation, nor did we ask the political affiliation of the corporate officers or of our agent. So, why in the name of heaven did Allstate make a political decision based on what a teenager thinks? This individual has very little, if any, life experience and has probably never had a full time job.

If you think he is so smart, Allstate, maybe you should give him YOUR job. Obviously, he’s smarter than the group of individuals running Allstate. You and the other companies made a knee jerk reaction by removing your advertising from The Ingram Angle. Maybe Allstate isn’t in such “good hands” and neither are we. If we had known your political leanings before, we would have found another insurance company to give our hard earned money to.

The Ingram Angle is a political commentary. Laura Ingram has a right to make her opinions known. If people don’t like her opinions, they won’t watch her show.

Allstate is an insurance company, stick to selling insurance. If you don’t want our business, please let us know and we will find an insurance company that just wants to sell insurance and not make public political statements that make them look like fools! This also applies to all the other “et al.” — run your business and make your political statements/opinions on your own, personal time.
