ALLWEST promotes Thomasson

ALLWEST Testing & Engineering has promoted James Thomasson to area manager for the company’s Hayden office.

Thomasson joined ALLWEST in 2016 as senior geotechnical engineer and engineering department manager. He graduated from the university in Portsmouth in the United Kingdom with a bachelor’s degree in engineering geology and geotechnics. He spent 1 1/2 years as a contract engineer in the UK before moving to Orange County, Calif., where he worked for 12 years at a geotechnical firm. He spent three years working at an engineering firm in Missoula, Mont., prior to joining ALLWEST.
