Mitchell wanted by crime task force

The North Idaho Violent Crimes Task Force is seeking information leading to the apprehension of Shantel Marie Mitchell.

Mitchell is being sought on a Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office warrant for parole violations on the original charges of possession of a controlled substance.

Mitchell, 27, is a white female. She is 5 foot 4 inches tall and weighs 125 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes. Mitchell was most recently listed as living in Athol.

The North Idaho Violent Crimes Task Force, consisting of members of the FBI, Idaho State Police, Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office, Coeur d’Alene Police Department, Post Falls Police Department, and the Idaho Department of Correction, is tasked with locating and apprehending violent fugitives charged with such crimes as homicide, bank robbery, robbery, kidnapping, rape/sexual assault, felonious assault, arson and drug trafficking.
