Robert E. Morgan

April 18, 1936 – April 12, 2018

Heaven was in need of a top notch mechanic/fix-it guru and on April 12, 2018, as Bob was resting at the Schneidmiller House in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, God summoned him for the job. In true Bob Morgan fashion, with his tool belt, welding helmet and favorite flannel on, he accepted the task.

Surviving Bob are his wife of 36 years, Juanita of Hayden, Idaho; children, Lon (Tess) of Waddell, Ariz., Barb (Sam) Marshall of Polson, Mont., Rod (Jeannie) Morgan of Florence, Mont., Kari (Jay) Pollock of Trout Creek, Mont. and stepson, Mark (Ella) Fultz of Vancouver, Wash.; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. In Bob’s world the names of each grandchild and great-grandchild were hard for him to remember and he thought that all boys should be named “Pete” and all girls should be named “Suzie!”

Bob was born on April 18, 1936, in Missoula, Mont. Fishing, hunting and nature were in Bob’s DNA. In later years he and Juanita enjoyed the peace and beauty of their property in Trout Creek, Mont.

Bob began his working career at Van Evan’s in Missoula. He then moved to Pierce, Idaho, and was employed by Boise Cascade. His path then led him to General Electric in Spokane, and a home nearby in Post Falls, Idaho. He finished his working career in 1998 at Hauser Lake Lumber in Post Falls.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Marion Morgan; sisters, Bev Weeks and Rosemary Meadows; and brothers, Randall and Raymond Morgan.

A celebration of Bob’s life will be from noon to 4 p.m. on April 21, 2018, at the Leisure Park Clubhouse, 1480 W. Leisure Drive, Hayden, Idaho. Please join his family for a light lunch and take the opportunity to share a story of Bob with others in attendance.

In lieu of flowers a donation to Hospice of North Idaho, at 2290 W. Prairie Ave, Coeur d’Alene, Idaho would be appreciated.
