Paula C. Padgitt, 68

Paula Christyne Padgitt passed away March 31, 2018, at 68 years of age. Paula was born Aug. 9, 1949, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, to Alvin Adna and Blythe Rose Batchelder.

Paula grew up in Southern California and graduated from Bolsa Grande High School in Garden Grove in 1967. She became a licensed dental assistant in 1968. Paula had several careers during her life, including dental hygienist, bank teller, office manager, cafe owner, and owner of Landy Care Northwest, a private-duty nursing service located in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Her favorite job, though, was being “Grammie” to her three grandchildren, Ruger William, Alexander Ryan and Rylee Krystann Padgitt.

Paula loved to entertain. Her house always had an open door for friends and family to stop by, eat, drink and enjoy. She loved the Phoenix Suns and the San Francisco 49ers. Joe Montana was her No. 1.

Paula is survived by her son, Ryan William Padgitt and his wife, Susan Leigh Padgitt of Phoenix, Ariz., and three grandchildren; her brother, Phil Batchelder and his family; and sister Alana Mowrer and her children; and multiple nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins around the country.

Paula will be laid to rest in Coeur d’Alene Memorial Gardens near her parents. No services are planned at this time.

Yates Funeral Home is entrusted with final arrangements. Please visit Paula’s online memorial and sign her guest book at www.yatesfuneralhomes.com.
