GOP: Take the offensive

| April 13, 2018 1:00 AM

I did not attend the Republican dinner at The Resort but I heard about it. Mike Baker, retired CIA agent and a brilliant analyst, was the guest speaker and was well received. He spoke about patriotism and other like topics that were red meat to his audience. Then Mike went in a strange direction: He encouraged his listeners to be sure to listen to the other side, don’t become like them, but we have to know what they think and most importantly what they think of us.

Really? To find out what, check out the alphabet TV channels or CNN and etc. Be sure to extend your research to the editorials of the printed rags such as the L.A. Times, the Chicago Tribune, the Boston Globe, the New York Times, the Washington Post, just to name a few. There are dozens that I left out.

Sorry Mike, we know what they think and what they won’t. They want our guns, they want open borders, they want judges akin to Ginsberg, they want higher taxes, they want to continue to support Planned Parenthood, who murder 300,000 babies a year, they want another POTUS like our last one, who came close to destroying our country, to help lead the way.

Unfortunately there are no longer Democrats like Scoop Jackson, Frank Church, or JFK as evidenced by the absence of even one aye vote from the Dems. With all due respect, Mike, it is time to go on offense. We need to support Conservative organizations, write letters, spread the word and get out the vote.

P.S. The reason I don’t watch CNN is same reason I don’t eat out of the toilet.
