EBERLEIN: Words to regret

Upon reading my morning Cd’A Press, and the featured story Tuesday, here is MY response:

“Eberlein said he wouldn’t accept the offer because he’s not interested in the two hurling insults at each other, but he’d love to have a beer with him.”

As a Kootenai County voter and resident, I don’t need a drinking buddy! I want a qualified, responsible, intelligent, compassionate, knowledgeable and character-driven competent individual who is serious about addressing the issues facing the county.

Not that I would have ever considered Eberlein anyway, but this comment alone tells me all I need to know about the man.
