Lane Leona Sanwald, 8

Lane Leona Sanwald, our beautiful 8-year-old daughter, has conquered her battle with cancer and received the ultimate victory of going Home. In the afternoon of April 8, 2018, our girl wrapped her arms around her Savior and is captive no more. Lane was born to us, Greg and Bethany Sanwald, on Feb. 9, 2010.

She was a carefree girl and delivered a joke with perfect timing. Her big sister Belle (9) was her best friend and laughing partner. Her little sister Emmy (4) was her connection to imagination and primary play. She was a loved granddaughter and a devoted friend. Dubbed “sparkplug,” she was an irresistible charmer to her aunts, uncles and cousins. She could make a friend anywhere and was so easy to love.

Lane will be missed by her Garwood Elementary family and the many groups she participated in. She had unimaginable strength and a joy for life that permeated everyone she met.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. (guests may arrive at 1 p.m.) on Saturday, April 14, 2018, at the Hagadone Event Center, 900 S. Floating Green Drive, Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, 83814. Arrangements are entrusted to Bell Tower Funeral Home.
