PRESS: Staying on top

| April 11, 2018 1:00 AM

How has the Coeur d’ Alene Press remained the region’s primary communication company? By continually evolving to provide timely information and being the champions of community involvement and engagement.

The Coeur d’Alene Press posterity will be secured by their vision of being accessible wherever their readership is and continuing to serve their readers and advertisers as communication evolves.

As many small independent daily newspapers have been challenged by technology’s changes, The Press seemingly has not only accepted these changes but aspired to lead the way. They see these changes as great platforms of opportunity.

They focus on the needs of the community. They have done so by being whereever the reader is through multi-platform distribution channels with a core focus on community engagement and providing accurate information that their growing readership considers indispensable.

The Coeur d’Alene Press is not just a press. It is a media group that has grown to serve this growing and vibrant region while also maintaining the integrity of its core mission. I applaud The Press and those within the company who continue to serve their community and readers.

“The press is bound by necessity to reflect the people and times,” Hubert Howe Bancroft stated in his book Retrospections. People today demand accessibility and timeliness through digital channels and The Press delivers that.
