The sale of the Atlas sawmill site brings back memories of tug boats, log booms, eight sawmills from Potlatch, now a golf course, to Post Falls. Years ago, people came here to work, now they come here to play.

P.S. Remember Downtown CDA before Duane took it over? Penney’s, Woolworths, the Wilma Theater, Hudson’s Hamburgers, etc.? You can’t golf at the Potlatch site unless you put $100 in Duane’s pocket.
