Annette Kristin Hickman, 49

The family of Annette Kristin Hickman, 49, sadly announces her passing on April 4, 2018, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Born in Coeur d’Alene on Sept. 6, 1968, Annette enjoyed the outdoors. She loved her job at the Fort Ground Grill, skiing, horseback riding, tennis, running and traveling. Physical fitness and especially mentoring and coaching others was important to her. Most of all, her daughters were her life. She was always fun, loving, supportive, caring of everyone and always there to lend a hand. We all will miss her hugs.

Annette will be remembered by her loving family including her daughters, Rikki Hickman and Reilli Hickman; mom and dad, Kristin and Roy Mortensen; sister, Melody Peterson; brothers, Jerry Mortensen and Jacob Mortensen; and grandparents, Floyd and Beverly Klein. She will forever be in the hearts of her uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and many friends and customers from the Fort Ground Grill.

A memorial gathering will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at the Fort Ground Grill in Coeur d’Alene. Many thanks to Steve and Marie Widmyer and CDAide for their love and support to Annette’s family during this sad time.
