Paul Joseph Koudelka, 78

Paul Joseph Koudelka was born in Clarkson, Neb., on July 1, 1939, and departed on April 6, 2018, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Paul married Faye Costello on June 30, 1969. He is now in heaven celebrating his reunion with his beloved wife of 36 years. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. We find great comfort in knowing that Paul has been reunited with the love of his life.

Paul was an electrician by trade and worked in that field for over 60 years. He was a true “Sparky.” He was very active in his church, homeowners association and an avid golfer. He loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed the outdoors.

He is survived by his four children: son, Steven (Wendy) and grandson, Wyatt of Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif.; son, James and granddaughter, Sarah of Jacksonville, Ill.; son, John (Tiffany) and grandson, Paul Anthony of Gallatin, Tenn.; daughter, Theresa (Stuart) and granddaughters, Tiffany, Brooke and Gracie of Coeur d’Alene; brother-in-law, Larry NcNew and nephew, Jason of Georgia. He was also survived by many friends and relatives — too numerous to mention … he loved you all. Paul dearly loved his children and they will miss him. He touched everyone that knew him because of his sweet soul.

Visitation will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 10, 2018, with the Rosary at 7 p.m. at Yates Funeral Home — Coeur d’Alene Chapel, 744 N. Fourth St., Coeur d’Alene, ID.

The Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at St. Joan of Arc Church, 773 N. 11th St., Coeur d’Alene, ID, with a graveside service to follow at St. Thomas Cemetery, E. Sherman Ave., Coeur d’Alene, ID.
