Hayden Kite Festival will fly April 21

HAYDEN — The annual Hayden Kite Festival will be soaring into town Saturday, April 21.

The family-friendly fun fest will take place from noon to 2:30 p.m. in Broadmoore Park, located at 2691 W. Broadmoore Drive in the midst of Broadmoore Estates north of Atlas Elementary School. The park is accessible from Prairie Avenue and Atlas Road.

Registration will be held in the park from noon to 1:30 p.m. Judging will be from noon to 2 p.m. followed by an awards ceremony at 2:15 p.m. Categories include best in show, high flyer, best homemade and more.

The Hayden Kite Festival is free and open to all ages.
