NIC Theatre Department to present 'Wounds to the Face'

| April 6, 2018 1:00 AM

The North Idaho College Theatre Department presents “Wounds to the Face,” by Howard Baker at 7:30 p.m. April 19-21 and April 26-28 in NIC’s Boswell Hall Schuler Performing Arts Center on NIC’s main campus.

“Wounds to the Face” is a confrontational, avant-garde play written by one of Britain’s most respected playwrights, Howard Barker. The NIC production will be directed by guest Dawn Taylor-Reinhardt. The play examines the connection between appearance and identity through a series of searing scenes. Taylor-Reinhardt designed the production to occur with the audience on stage, making the performing space as compelling as the script. Because this limits seating to about 99 seats, there will be no late seating.

The play contains mature themes and language; it is not intended for children. No infants, please.
