Murray group hires Campbell

The Murray Group recently hired Branden Campbell as its new voluntary benefits consultant. Campbell holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Multnomah University and most recently worked for one of the largest voluntary benefits carriers in the country. His role is to assist employers in expanding comprehensive benefit offerings to employees, while keeping costs affordable.

Up North Distillery wins multiple awards

Up North Distillery in Post Falls recently won a Gold Medal in the “Best of” category for its Honey Spirits at the 2018 American Distilling Institute Competition.

“This product is made solely from Idaho honey. We create a mead wine and then distill it, resulting in a naturally gluten-free spirit with an essence of honey,” said Up North’s announcement.

Entrants in the competition consisted of newly opened micro-distilleries to globally recognized spirit brands.

Up North Distillery won award medals for the following products: Honey Spirits- Gold Medal; 3 Year Apple Brandy- Silver Medal; Apple Brandy- Bronze Medal; Big Kid Cider- Bronze Medal; Barrel Reserve Honey Spirits- Bronze Medal.

Up North Distillery products are available on site at the distillery, 846 N. Boulder Court. Their products are also available in Idaho liquor stores.
