Sharon Smith, 69

It is with great sadness that the family of Sharon Smith announces her passing, after a recent battle with cancer, on Easter Sunday, April 1, 2018, at the age of 69 years.

Sharon will be forever remembered by her loving family, including her husband of 28 years, Fred; daughter, April (Steve); grandchildren, Tyson and Kelsey; and great-grandson, Brody. Sharon will also be forever in the hearts of her brother, Gary (Judy); sister, Mary (William); and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Never one to turn down an adventure, Sharon was an outdoorswoman her entire life. She started riding horses as a young teenager, eventually breaking and training horses, showing horses, trail riding and enjoying several multi-day pack trips. She loved hunting, fishing, camping and riding dirtbikes and ATVs. Her adventurous spirit and love of the outdoors has been contagious and continues to live on through her beloved family.

A woman of faith, we know that Sharon has now embarked on a new adventure with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her memory will be forever in our hearts until we can adventure with her once again in Heaven.

A memorial service in celebration of Sharon’s life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 7, 2018, at Real Life Ministries Church, 10 S. Division St., Pinehurst, Idaho.

Those who so desire may make memorial donations in memory of Sharon to Ds Connections NW, 3839 W. Prairie Ave., Hayden, ID 83835, in honor of her great-grandson Brody, who was the joy of her heart.

One may sign Sharon’s online guest book at www.shoshonefuneralservice.com. Shoshone Funeral Services and Crematory, Kellogg, Idaho, is entrusted with services.
