Mildred Marie Westlake, 95

Mildred Marie Westlake, 95, of Post Falls, Idaho, entered into the arms of our Lord on April 1, 2018, at the Schneidmiller Hospice House in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. She was a beloved wife, mother and grand-mother. Mildred enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, fishing and hunting. She also loved to do crafts, scrapbooking, card making and painting. Mildred loved to cook for her family and make Christmas goodies, but most of all, she enjoyed being with her family.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Laura Ramsey; brothers, Marvin and Milton; husband, David; and son, Melvin Sr.

She is survived by daughters, Carol (Ted) Hiiva of Post Falls and Sharlene Westlake of Post Falls; grandchildren, David (Kristie) Hiiva of Post Falls; Melvin Jr. (Heather) Westlake of Post Falls, Annie (JJ) Millan of Iron Mountain, Mich., and Kristina Jackson of Alpine Junction, Wyo.; great-grandchildren, Justin (Liz) Goddard of Wheatland, Wyo., Jessica (Kael) Schreiner of Wheatland, Cole Jackson of Three Forks, Mont., Amanda Westlake of Post Falls and Kassidy Jackson of Alpine Junction; great-great-grandchildren, Samuel Goddard, Layci Schreiner and Braelynn Jackson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Hospice House or the Alzheimer’s Association.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Friday, April 6, 2018, at English Funeral Chapel, Post Falls, with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
