Kalyna Korok

North Idaho College

Korok, a sophomore third baseman, hit a pair of three-run home runs and finished with seven RBIs in a 13-8 win in the second game of a Northwest Athletic Conference doubleheader against Treasure Valley on Friday at Post Falls High. Korok’s first three-run homer capped a six-run first inning for the Cardinals. “She’s a kid that stays cool as a cucumber and stays in the moment,” NIC coach Don Don Williams said. “She really came through with a timely hit in a big moment. She’s a great player.”
