AIRPORT: Parking risk alert

| September 24, 2017 1:00 AM

I parked my car at Spokane Airport on Sept. 2. On Sept. 9 I returned to the airport. When I was taken to economy parking lot by shuttle, I noticed my car was sitting sideways into the adjacent parking place. It had been hit and pushed at least 4 feet. Tail light glass all over roadway, side of car smashed. I called police to report the accident.

First question I had was, were there cameras in the parking lots so we can check for plate numbers?

Well, I found out that there are NO cameras in the parking lots in any outside airport parking lots and the one or ones that are in the parking building are unusable because of their being worthless to see anything clearly.

So, I’m letting the public and officials know that in this day of terror and bad things happening, there are NO cameras recording your safety.

And to the owner of the vehicle with a spare tire holder on the back (a distinct impression of the tire holder was left on my fender) who did this without leaving a message, well, may you turn into a frog.
