SELTICE: To-do list

| October 29, 2017 1:00 AM

We drive East Seltice way 2-3 times a week, and make the following observations:

Signage — As the project was about half over, magically there appeared some directional/informational signs on the south side, pointing to businesses on the north side. These should have been in place when the project started, not when it was half over. Inspirational to see them even if very late. The businesses on the north side should be very upset about their loss of customers due to no directions.

Note to the contractor: There is a piece of equipment you are not aware of, that being a sweeper. The LOOSE GRAVEL on the north side of the roundabouts is a disaster waiting to happen. The RAB at Atlas is the primary issue; hasn’t seen a sweeper since the project started. LOOSE GRAVEL causes ACCIDENTS, and can be easily prevented.

I am sure there are some equipment rental shops that would be happy to work with you, even including an operator if needed. We also asked for lighting when the RABs were partially constructed, yet to happen.
