ROSE: Qualified to lead

I am very happy to add my name to many others in Kootenai County who endorse Deborah Rose for her election to Commissioner, District 5 of the Timberlake Fire Protection District. This is an important election for a position on the five-member board that manages fire, medical, first responder and other emergency services for the 83 square miles and 7,000 residents in North Kootenai County. The area is also popular for vacationers during the summer when more than 20,000 visitors are in the area.

The area and population served for this important position require very special community-involved and professionally qualified members. Deborah Rose has these qualifications. She is a longtime resident of North County, she has been involved in many local volunteer positions. Deborah has exhibited strong management and budgeting skills having supervised staffs of more than 100 and has prepared and executed budgets for several organizations, including her current director position as a 950-member homeowners’ association.

Deborah Rose has also been very active in many conservative activities and causes during her long residence in Kootenai County. She is a person of strong personal character and high standards. I ask that you vote for her Nov. 7 for Commissioner of the Timberlake Fire Protection District.
