AP: Digs at Trump

Associated Press/AP; so, you don’t like Trump, that’s fine but come on, there is a time to put your little snide remarks in your articles and there is a time you should keep them to yourself.

You started with a feel-good story about a true hero who finally received the Medal of Honor he long deserved. But you couldn’t leave it at that and stay focused on a very special moment and person as you reported about the ceremony President Trump presided over and placed the Medal on Capt. Gary M. Rose. You had to put your little snide remark in, that served no purpose whatsoever in reporting the event, right in the middle of an awesome story when you said, “Trump’s lack of military service has drawn renewed attention during the debate over the fate of four service members who were killed this month in an ambush in Niger.”

What does that have to do with that special moment? A moment that should have been all about Capt. Gary M. Rose! His moment! A moment you used to make your snide remark. A positive moment you managed to put a negative twist to. That was simply UN-professional. It’s things like that, that adds to the growing negative sentiment the general public has with so many news organizations.

One last thing. Community organizer and chief Obama didn’t serve either and how many service men and women died under his watch?
