DRIVER: Courtesy appreciated

A big thank you to the Coeur d’Alene school bus driver of bus No. 50! Most mornings on my way to work, along West Highland Drive and Upriver Drive between 8-8:15 a.m., I come upon a school bus picking up students. I notice how she makes sure the kids do not start to cross the street until all vehicles are at a complete stop around her. She is also a very considerate driver, because when she notices a vehicle behind her, she will find a safe place, use her blinker and pull over and let us go around her! To me, that is very thoughtful.

I also drive a bus — not a school bus at this time — and it is refreshing to see someone driving who pays attention to her surroundings and has consideration for others. I bet her kids on the bus love her a lot and I presume she is considerate to everyone in general!

Thank you very much Bus Driver No. 50. Your kindness is appreciated!
