CAMPAIGNS: Money always wins

In an article titled, “Lawmaker: Idaho House Republicans unwilling to unite” in the Oct. 7 issue, the writer told of possible un-cooperation among Republicans. Politicians have not cared about WE THE PEOPLE for many elections. As long as we have a campaigning system where the candidates need SOMEONE ELSE’S MONEY, the ones who donate THE MOST will ALWAYS WIN, because they give to BOTH PARTIES.

The candidates do not get the money without conditions. The candidates have to promise to do certain things, or they do not get the money.

We need to have a campaigning system that forbids the candidates from spending ANY money. A debate system would be one way, but there could be other ways.
