Smith and Findlay join

Lake City Law Group

Lake City Law Group announced the addition of attorney Erik Smith and attorney Amanda Findlay. They will be based out of the group’s Coeur d’Alene office, 435 W. Hanley Ave., off U.S. 95 in the Community 1st Bank Building.

- Smith specializes in all forms of criminal defense with an emphasis on civil litigation for both plaintiffs and defendants. He also practices in family law, estate planning, personal injury, probate, environmental law and real estate litigation.

He was admitted to the Idaho State Bar in 1994, as well as the U.S. District Court for the District of Idaho. His education includes a Juris Doctor degree from University of Idaho College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in religion and Greek studies from Seattle Pacific University.

Smith is an Advisory Board member for the Salvation Army Kroc Community Center, president of the board for the Coeur Area Swim Team, board member for the Coeur d’Alene Church of the Nazarene, and counsel for the Board of Trustees for the Kootenai Bridge Academy charter school.

- Findlay specializes in guardianship and conservatorship, estate planning, probate, civil litigation and criminal defense.

She was admitted to the Idaho State Bar and U.S. District Court, District of Idaho in 2016. Her education includes a Juris Doctor degree from the Mississippi College School of Law and a Bachelor’s of Science in political science from Idaho State University.

Findlay also completed externships with Idaho Legal Aid Services and the Vulnerable Persons Division of the Attorney General’s Office to further her experience with the elderly and disabled. She has a disabled brother who has been her inspiration to pursue a career protecting those who cannot protect themselves.

Coeur d’Alene adds Rice

Kay Rice recently joined the team of sales professionals at Keller Williams Realty Coeur d’Alene.

After an extensive career innovating and designing new systems in education, Kay has combined that experience with her passion for housing renovations and real estate.

Rice attended the University of Washington on a full-ride scholarship for her master’s degree in policy, governance and administration of education. She previously had an extensive career in innovating and designing new systems in education.

She is involved with Cancer and Community Charities (3Cs), Philanthropic Educational Organization (P.E.O), and is a church volunteer and a volunteer at the Coeur d’Alene Visitors Center.

Keller Williams Realty Coeur d’Alene specializes in residential, luxury, waterfront and commercial properties throughout the Inland Northwest. The company has more than 200 associates with offices in Coeur d’Alene and Sandpoint.
