DEMS: Can't win if they're not pro-life

| October 1, 2017 1:00 AM

Democrats lament the fact there are not more Democrats in office. In the Idaho Legislature, there are three Democrats in each of Districts 16, 17, 18, 19, and two in District 29 and 1 in District 5. So why is that?

In Idaho, there are 29 percent more Republicans than there are Democrats. So, a Democrat has to work pretty hard to beat that disadvantage. In Idaho, not only are the two U.S. senators and two representatives Republican, but here in Kootenai County, all the partisan elected candidates are Republican.

So what is the difference? In the past the Democrats were strong on unions and against right to work, in favor of minimum wage laws.

Now, however they support abortion on demand, gay “rights” and “transgender rights,” free immigration, and generally against private enterprise and a host of other things that have made our country great. If they truly want to start winning elections all that has to change. No one in his right mind would ever vote for someone who is not pro-life.

You figure why Democrats don’t win.
